Delta Hotels has acquired the Grand Okanagan Lakefront ResortDelta plans to spend more than $7 million in capital refurbishments during the next three years to upgrade the hotel and its amenities. It currently has 259 guestrooms in two towers, 37 vacation timeshares, 23 vacation condo units and 71 private residence units. It also includes a 25,000 square-foot conference centre. 

 The new Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre will open in October, following completion of the deal in late August. Delta operates and franchises 40 hotels across Canada.
